Job Description
Supports UNEP’s Latin America and Caribbean chemicals and pollution networks through communications and knowledge management. The intern coordinates event and network outreach, updates web content, drafts progress materials, compiles knowledge-sharing results, prepares meeting documentation and awareness products, and helps regional partners advance action on pollution and waste.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support communications for regional pollution cooperation networks
- Coordinate network events, webinars and technical exchanges
- Update web pages and draft informative activity notes
- Draft and disseminate progress reports on work plans
- Compile results from regional knowledge-sharing activities
- Prepare meeting materials, minutes and follow-up actions
- Develop public-awareness materials on pollution
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in a Master's programme, final year of a Bachelor's programme, or graduation with a Bachelor's degree within one year
- Study in Communication, Graphic Design, Public Awareness, International Relations, Social Sciences or a related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of environmental issues in Latin America and the Caribbean
- Experience organising face-to-face and online events
- Experience in social media for public awareness
- Skills in design and data-visualisation programmes
