Ingénieur(e) agronome - Responsable de sites

The Agronomist and Site Manager plans, manages and monitors UNOPS community violence-reduction and reintegration activities in Bangui. The role coordinates field teams, MINUSCA DDR and local partners; oversees beneficiary registration, training and livelihood support; conducts market mapping; and ensures compliant procurement, logistics and project delivery in a complex field environment.

• Plan, manage, coordinate and monitor UNOPS project activities in Bangui
• Assess and manage resources for project activities in line with UNOPS rules and procedures
• Maintain sector workplans and activity schedules with MINUSCA DDR and implementation partners
• Organise beneficiary registration, information sessions and awareness activities
• Conduct market studies and economic mapping to identify viable reintegration opportunities
• Support agronomy partners to deliver quality training and livelihood activities
• Manage community and operations associates deployed in the sector
• Coordinate procurement, delivery and payment support for beneficiary equipment and materials

• Master’s degree in agro-industrial engineering or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of relevant professional experience
• At least four years of relevant experience in agro-industrial engineering or a related field for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree
• At least three years of project-coordination or site-management experience in emergency, transition or development settings
• At least three years of field experience in post-conflict contexts
• Fluent French

• Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
• Experience in difficult and isolated duty stations
