Provides reliable ICT services and procurement support for office systems, infrastructure and technology contracts. The role maintains networks, hardware, cloud resources and cybersecurity controls, manages ICT sourcing and vendors, supports ERP and digital tools, and helps colleagues across programmes and operations use technology effectively while meeting corporate standards.

• Implement ICT strategies, standards and operating procedures for the country office technology environment
• Maintain networks, cloud resources, hardware, software and shared infrastructure for UN agencies
• Deploy cybersecurity controls and countermeasures to protect office and partner data resources
• Manage ICT assets and supplies throughout procurement, use, repair and sustainable disposal
• Oversee technology contracts, vendor performance, licensing, warranties and service-level agreements
• Run sourcing and procurement processes for hardware, software, cloud hosting and cybersecurity services
• Support ERP systems, automation, AI tools and data analytics for operational decision-making
• Provide technical support and training to office staff, programmes, projects and partner agencies

• Secondary education with formal training in IT systems, business software or web-based applications
• Six years of relevant experience with secondary education, or three years with a bachelor's degree
• Relevant experience in network administration, web design, hardware or software support, cloud ERP environments, telecommunications, database applications or web-based management systems
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Arabic

• CIPS Level 2 certification, with lower CIPS levels offering a proportionate advantage
• CCNA, MSCA, MSCE or MCP certification
• Experience providing ICT services, procurement support or shared services within the UN system or international organisations
• Hands-on experience with ERP and web-based ICT or procurement platforms
• Experience supporting networks, cloud environments, cybersecurity monitoring and ICT asset lifecycles
• Experience with RFQ, ITB or RFP processes, technical specifications, vendor coordination or technical evaluation committees
