Job Description

UNFPA seeks a national Human Resources Analyst to coordinate recruitment and the employee lifecycle for Arab States regional and country offices. The role delivers client-focused HR services, recruitment planning, onboarding and learning support; tracks metrics and budgets; and advises field HR focal points. It requires a relevant advanced degree, two years of HR experience and fluent English.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment planning and delivery across regional and country offices
  • Administer onboarding, performance management, career development and exit processes
  • Train country-office HR focal points on recruitment policies and processes
  • Track HR metrics, recruitment plans and supplier service levels
  • Coordinate HR events, learning support and field information-sharing sessions
  • Provide analytics on workforce trends and regional HR client-service delivery

Role Requirements

  • Advanced master degree in human resources, business administration, public administration or a related discipline
  • Two years of relevant human resources experience focused on recruitment or HR client services
  • Knowledge of HR policies across the employment life cycle
  • Proficiency with recruitment and HR systems or software applications
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Knowledge of other official UN languages, preferably French
  • Experience working with senior management and project teams
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
