Job Description
UNFPA seeks a national Administrative & HR Analyst for its Pacific Sub-Regional Office. The role implements HR policies, supports recruitment and workforce planning, oversees personnel records and contracts, coordinates learning plans, and ensures timely travel and procurement. It requires a relevant advanced degree, up to two years’ relevant experience and fluent English.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise on corporate strategies, personnel rules, entitlements and contractual modalities
- Support recruitment processes, vacancy announcements, candidate screening and interview panels
- Maintain HR records, leave data and confidential performance documentation
- Prepare and renew contracts and follow up on payroll issues
- Coordinate office learning plans, HR surveys and working-group participation
- Implement travel policies and support major procurement processes
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in human resource management, business administration, psychology, international relations, organizational development, public administration, law, international development or relevant social sciences
- Up to two years of relevant HR advisory, operational-systems, learning, HR management, research, administration, recruitment or sourcing experience
- Ability to assess needs, train and provide technical assistance
- Proficiency in MS Office packages, databases and the Internet
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Professional training or certification in HR, procurement or business administration
- Fluency in a local Pacific language
- Familiarity with development-programme support complexities
