Job Description
Provides surge and capacity-building HR support for UN Women’s Asia-Pacific regional and field offices. The national home-based retainer advises management, supports recruitment, consultant management, benefits, onboarding and contracts, aligns positions with funding, strengthens HR planning, and builds regional HR staff capability through an on-call assignment of up to 400 working days.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise senior management and regional HR colleagues on HR management
- Provide surge support and lead HR processes for assigned offices
- Facilitate local and international recruitment and consultant management
- Administer benefits, entitlements, onboarding, contract maintenance and offboarding
- Coordinate position management with operations and budget colleagues
- Provide capacity building to HR staff in the Asia-Pacific region
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in human resources management, organizational development, business administration, public administration, change management or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in human resource management
- Experience in recruitment and selection, benefits administration, HR business partnering and the UN system
- Regional and country-level experience in Asia and the Pacific
- Fluency in English and Thai
Desired Criteria
- May be required to travel under UN Women travel policy
