Job Description
Supports UNHCR Private Sector Partnerships in Hong Kong to strengthen fundraising communications and donor engagement. The assistant monitors media coverage, maintains mailing lists and campaign materials, develops online and offline content, assists awareness events, translates between English and Traditional Chinese, and handles communications with vendors, media and partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Collect refugee-related press coverage and media articles
- Maintain mailing lists and dispatch fundraising communications
- Manage fundraising and marketing-material stocks
- Develop online and offline fundraising and marketing content
- Provide on-site assistance for campaigns, exhibitions and awareness events
- Translate content between English and Traditional Chinese
- Respond to routine enquiries from vendors, media, NGOs and officials
- Maintain fundraising communication files
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary education
- One year of work experience with a high school diploma, or no experience requirement with a bachelor's degree
- Written and spoken Chinese and English proficiency
- MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe Photoshop or video-editing-tools knowledge
Desired Criteria
- Degree in business administration, journalism, social science or a related field
- Fundraising, public-relations or marketing experience in the Hong Kong market
- Experience managing donor or customer records in a customer relationship database
