Job Description
Provides front-office coordination and administrative support to the UN Resident Coordinator Office in China. The intern will format official correspondence, support approvals, translation and interpretation, and maintain records and contact data. The assignment helps strengthen UN-system coherence, country-team coordination and effective engagement around the Sustainable Development Goals.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and administrative assistance to the Front Office
- Finalise and format official correspondence submitted to the Resident Coordinator and coordinate approvals
- Provide simple translation and interpretation services when necessary
- Maintain chrono files, archives and contact-information databases
- Draft simple correspondence and format official letters and speeches to office standards
- Complete logistic and administrative support tasks requested by the office or supervisor
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme, or enrolment in or completion of the final academic year of a first university degree programme at minimum master's level
- A field of study closely related to the internship
- Good knowledge of standard software applications including MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
