Summary of Responsibilities
- Execute and reconcile accounting transactions across the financial ERP modules
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities and issue closure guidance to ACO commands
- Prepare consolidated annual financial statements and supporting financial reports
- Investigate ledger discrepancies and recommend corrective accounting actions
- Prepare audit documentation and coordinate responses to auditors
- Maintain ACO financial master data and develop customised Oracle EBS reports
- Implement revised accounting controls, IPSAS policies and financial-system improvements
- Coordinate reconciliations and accounting support across NATO entities and headquarters
Role Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting, account control and corporate financial reporting
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in budget, accounting or financial reporting work
- At least 3 years of practical experience using and analysing financial ERP modules in a NATO environment
- Higher secondary education with intermediate vocational training and 3 years of related experience, or secondary education with advanced vocational training and 4 years of related experience
- English proficiency at NATO SLP 3322
- Nationality of a NATO member state
- Ability to obtain the required NATO security clearance and medical certificate
Desired Criteria
- Corporate-level experience as a principal analyst, administrator or business administrator in NATO, a multinational organisation, government or commerce
- Experience applying NATO financial rules and regulations
- Accounting or finance-analysis experience in NATO, a major international organisation or a national audit institution
- Hands-on experience operating Oracle ERP systems in NATO military headquarters

- May require deployments or temporary-duty assignments inside or outside NATO boundaries for up to 30 days
