Job Description
The Field Support Associate supports IOM movement operations in Kinshasa, coordinating airport, transit-centre and transportation services for migrants and refugees. The role verifies travel documentation, assists vulnerable travellers, maintains operational data, liaises with providers, and escalates safety, conduct and service issues to the National Operations Officer.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Undertake movement-operations activities at airports, transit centres, facilities, camps, sub-offices and transport locations
- Coordinate field support teams delivering airport services, including identity checks, travel-document custody and immigration formalities
- Support arrivals, stays and departures at transit centres while updating systems and assisting vulnerable individuals
- Coordinate transport readiness, baggage handling, briefings and support for persons with special needs
- Report operational issues and non-compliance with SOPs or codes of conduct to the National Operations Officer
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Accounting or a related field with three years of relevant professional experience
- High School diploma with five years of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in French, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Movement operations or transportation experience
- Experience working with migrants, refugees and IDPs
- Working knowledge of English, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili or Lingala
