Job Description
Supports delivery of FAO emergency, food-security and livelihood projects across Sudanese states. The specialist coordinates implementing partners, project inputs and field monitoring; contributes to needs assessments and sector coordination; and provides evidence-based reporting that helps state-level actors deliver timely, accountable assistance to affected communities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support field implementation and monitoring of emergency and livelihood projects across Sudanese states
- Lead implementing-partner selection and manage timely delivery of project inputs under Letters of Agreement
- Prepare project monitoring plans and apply tools with FAO monitoring and evaluation officers
- Produce evidence-based monitoring reports on completed activities and their effects on targeted communities
- Coordinate food-security and livelihoods information with authorities, partners and sector members
Role Requirements
- University degree in Agriculture, Livestock, Natural Resource Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics or a related field
- At least four years of relevant experience in field-level project implementation, monitoring, coordination or food security and livelihoods
- Working knowledge of English and Arabic
- National of Sudan
