Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance on early-recovery needs and priorities
- Support resilient and sustainable recovery strategies and plans
- Prepare territorial diagnoses and technical inputs
- Support planning, implementation, monitoring and follow-up of UNDP initiatives
- Facilitate coordination with public entities and territorial actors
- Prepare reports, methodologies and technical documents
Role Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in early recovery, crisis response or disaster-risk management
- Experience providing technical assistance to public administrations for disaster-risk management
- Spanish fluency
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UN-system or international-cooperation organisations
- Knowledge of Colombian disaster-risk and recovery policy
- Knowledge of gender, disability and intersectionality approaches
