Job Description
UNRWA seeks a Enterprise Support Officer in the Damascus area to deliver entrepreneurship support for TVET beneficiaries. The officer will develop training curricula, assess markets, train and coach entrepreneurs, build stakeholder linkages, distribute business toolkits, organize enterprise events, monitor beneficiary progress, analyse project data, and embed inclusion in interventions.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement entrepreneurship support activities under project objectives and work plans
- Develop and update entrepreneurship training materials and curricula based on labour-market needs
- Identify, mobilize, screen and register eligible beneficiaries
- Conduct market and business-opportunity assessments
- Deliver entrepreneurship training on supplier linkages, pricing, marketing, financial literacy and customer relations
- Provide individual and group coaching and technical guidance to entrepreneurs
- Establish partnerships that improve access to finance and organize entrepreneurship events
Role Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, Finance, Entrepreneurship or a related field
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in business development, entrepreneurship support, feasibility studies, TVET projects, business training or SME development
- Experience designing or delivering entrepreneurship and business development training
- Experience providing coaching, mentoring and advisory services to entrepreneurs
- English and Arabic are required
- Applicants must reside in Syria, be within commuting distance and have work authorization
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of the Syrian business environment and local labour market is desirable
- Training of Trainers experience is an asset
