Job Description
Supports UNHCR's education programmes for refugees, displaced people and host communities in DRC by coordinating sector activities, implementing education strategy and monitoring Mastercard, INS, DAFI and cash-based initiatives. The role manages education data, dashboards and reporting, works with partners and authorities, and promotes refugee inclusion, child protection and evidence-based planning.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support management and coordination of the education sector and implementation of UNHCR's education strategy
- Monitor Mastercard, INS, DAFI, cash-based and other education activities with field focal points
- Maintain working relationships with education partners, authorities and internal teams
- Produce regular reports on education activities, achievements and challenges
- Maintain education dashboards and collect, analyse and present quality programme data
- Update disaggregated refugee-student statistics to inform planning and targeted funding
- Support refugee inclusion in education planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation
- Apply child-protection and inclusion principles across education activities
Role Requirements
- Education in education, social sciences or another relevant field
- Six years of relevant education-programme experience with a secondary-school diploma, or three years with a bachelor's degree
- Mastery of French and working knowledge of English
- Knowledge of the Congolese education system
- Experience in girls' education and child protection
- Knowledge of multi-donor education programmes and UNHCR policies and standards
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
