Associate Education Officer

UNHCR seeks an Associate Education Officer volunteer in Iriba to expand refugees' inclusion in national education, coordinate education partners, assess needs, monitor programmes and data, strengthen digital learning and government capacity, and integrate protection standards into delivery.

• Promote refugee inclusion in national education systems, policy and planning
• Coordinate education partners, government counterparts and programme implementation
• Assess education needs and monitor implementing-partner performance and quality
• Analyse education data and contribute to strategies, planning, reporting and advocacy
• Support the Digital Learning Center and build partner and authority capacity
• Ensure education activities incorporate protection, safeguarding and accountability standards

• Relevant progressively responsible experience in education
• Experience implementing or coordinating education programmes in humanitarian or development settings
• Ability to work with government authorities and ministries

• This is a field-based UN Volunteer assignment in an E hardship duty station with challenging living and security conditions.
