Job Description
Provides safe, efficient transport for authorised WFP personnel and commodities in Monrovia, following approved routes and UN safety requirements. The driver supports visitor arrivals, maintains vehicle logs and mechanical readiness, reports incidents and fuel use, and completes basic office or stores tasks when not driving to keep transport and administrative services reliable.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Transport authorised personnel and commodities on approved routes
- Meet personnel and visitors at entry points and assist with visa and customs formalities
- Maintain vehicle logbooks and report mechanical status and fuel consumption
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, equipped and maintained
- Report accidents and field-delivery problems promptly to the supervisor
- Perform filing, photocopying, stores and delivery tasks outside driving duties
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary school education
- Formal driver training and a valid licence or certification to operate the assigned vehicle
- Two or more years of driver experience with a demonstrated safe driving record
- Fluency in the UN language in use at the duty station and the duty-station language if different
Desired Criteria
- Experience driving varied vehicle makes and models
- Defensive-driving experience
- Experience with an international organisation, embassy or UN system
