Job Description
Provides safe transport for senior WFP staff, UN officials and visitors in Monrovia while coordinating transport services for clients. The senior driver plans routes and schedules for other drivers, maintains vehicles and records, supports arrivals and deliveries, reports incidents and mechanical issues, and performs related office and stores support to ensure reliable, secure operations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Transport senior WFP staff, UN officials and visitors safely
- Plan routes and schedules for other drivers
- Meet official personnel and visitors and assist with entry formalities
- Maintain vehicle logbooks and report mechanical status
- Plan and coordinate vehicle maintenance and equipment readiness
- Report accidents and field-delivery problems to the supervisor
- Perform filing, photocopying, stores and mailing tasks outside driving duties
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary school education
- Formal driver training and a valid licence or certification to operate the assigned vehicle
- Three or more years of driver experience with a demonstrated safe driving record
- Fluency in the UN language in use at the duty station and the duty-station language if different
Desired Criteria
- Experience driving varied vehicle makes and models
- Defensive-driving experience
- Experience with an international organisation, embassy or UN system
