Job Description
Provides safe, reliable transport and basic logistical support for WFP personnel, visitors and commodities in Monrovia. The role maintains vehicle readiness, records fuel use and mechanical status, follows UN safety procedures, assists arrivals with entry formalities and undertakes office support tasks that keep daily local operations responsive and efficient.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Transport authorised personnel and commodities along approved routes while following UN safety and security rules
- Meet personnel and visitors at entry points and assist with visa and customs formalities
- Maintain vehicle logbooks and report mechanical status daily to support efficient fuel use and accounting
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, equipped, maintained and ready for authorised travel
- Follow field-delivery and accident procedures and promptly report problems to the supervisor
- Undertake filing, photocopying, store maintenance, deliveries and bill payments outside driving duties
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary school education
- Formal driver training with a valid driver's licence or certification to operate the assigned vehicle
- At least two years of work experience as a Driver with a demonstrated safe driving record
- Fluency in the UN language used at the duty station and the duty-station language if different
Desired Criteria
- Experience in an international organisation, embassy or UN system
- Experience driving vans, trucks and other motorised vehicles
- Experience in defensive driving
