Job Description
Provides technical assistance to Cambodia’s government to implement its disaster risk financing strategy, strengthen insurance and social-protection systems, and build institutional capacity. The international consultant designs and delivers training, leads workshops and knowledge exchange, develops an investment case for disaster risk insurance, and coordinates analysis and stakeholder engagement around climate and disaster risk financing.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Design and deliver CDRFI training for government partners
- Facilitate workshops and knowledge exchange
- Develop a disaster-risk insurance investment case
- Conduct literature reviews and key-informant interviews
- Present findings to government and stakeholders
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in a stated relevant discipline
- At least seven years of experience in climate and disaster risk financing, insurance, digital financial inclusion or social protection
- Experience designing and facilitating training on financial instruments and insurance
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in Cambodia or a similar context
- Knowledge of Cambodian government policies and strategies
