Job Description
This UN Volunteer assignment provides coordination and programme support for the UN Pavilion at EXPO 2027 Belgrade. Working with the Resident Coordinator's Office, UN entities, government and EXPO counterparts, the coordinator consolidates inputs, supports programming and communications, prepares materials, tracks decisions and partnerships, and helps deliver a platform for the SDGs.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate and consolidate UN entity inputs for the UN Pavilion programme, workplans and budget inputs
- Liaise with EXPO counterparts, government counterparts and participating UN entities
- Consolidate thematic and programme inputs for the UN Pavilion and related activities
- Prepare briefing notes, talking points, background documents and presentations for the Resident Coordinator
- Coordinate EXPO-related communications with UN teams and the UN SDG Action Campaign
- Track EXPO programme timelines, agreed actions and deliverables
- Prepare regular and ad hoc EXPO updates and reports
- Organise EXPO meetings, agendas, materials, participants and action-point follow-up
- Maintain EXPO documentation, contact lists and coordination records
- Support partnership mapping and engagement for UN participation in EXPO 2027
Role Requirements
- Demonstrated interest in sustainable development, the Sustainable Development Goals and the work of the United Nations
- Experience in project or programme support
- Experience organising meetings, workshops or events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Serbian and English
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with government institutions, international organisations, NGOs or academia
- Experience in communications, partnerships or programme coordination
- Knowledge of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals
