Job Description

Manages contract compliance and performance for procurement projects supporting the United Nations Support Office in Haiti. The role develops operational controls, quality assurance and risk-management arrangements, oversees performance reporting systems, addresses contractor non-compliance and claims, and provides procurement and contract-management guidance to stakeholders and team members.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage contractual aspects of procurement projects
  • Develop operational plans and procedures for contract compliance and performance
  • Provide procurement support for statements of work, performance standards and evaluation criteria
  • Develop quality assurance plans and contract risk assessments
  • Assess contractor performance and address non-compliance
  • Manage contract close-outs and contractor performance assessments
  • Coordinate claims, disputes and contractual remedies with relevant stakeholders
  • Administer and improve contract performance reporting systems

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in business administration, public administration, engineering, law or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, project or contract management, logistics support or procurement
  • English proficiency

Desired Criteria

  • Experience applying procurement and contract-management policies in an international organisation or public-sector environment
  • Experience with contract performance management systems
  • Experience supporting performance monitoring, analytics or reporting
