Summary of Responsibilities
- Map private-sector companies, associations, foundations, intermediaries and other prospective partners
- Prepare company profiles, comparison matrices, background notes and fact sheets
- Develop technical inputs for private-sector initiatives and regional or country-office requests
- Draft concept notes, pitch decks, value propositions, talking points and briefing packages
- Analyse resource-mobilisation opportunities and innovative financing mechanisms
- Compile documentary evidence and preliminary risk analysis for due-diligence processes
- Produce methodological guides, presentations, analytical records and lessons-learned products
- Coordinate each retainer request with the supervising partnerships and resource-mobilisation team
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant social, political, communications, international, human-rights, development, public-administration, business or economics field
- Master's degree in a relevant business, economics, finance, international-relations, development, gender, policy, law or sustainability field, or two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of work in private-sector engagement, strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation, corporate sustainability, philanthropy, development finance or a related area
- Demonstrated experience working with business-ecosystem actors in Latin America and the Caribbean
- Experience addressing gender equality and women's rights with private-sector actors
- English and Spanish proficiency
Desired Criteria
- Experience working within the United Nations system
- Proficiency with office software, spreadsheets, databases and web-based management systems

- Home-based international retainer consultancy with assignments issued case by case
- The retainer ceiling does not guarantee any volume of work or financial commitment
- Travel may be requested and funded by the UN Women office commissioning the service
