Job Description
Develops tailored safeguarding induction packages for UNICEF personnel and affiliated audiences in Venezuela. The consultant will turn conduct, prevention, risk-mitigation and reporting standards into accessible training, self-learning and assessment resources that strengthen accountability, early risk identification and safe environments for children and communities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Design differentiated safeguarding induction packages for UNICEF personnel and affiliated audiences
- Develop training materials, self-learning resources and learning assessment tools
- Produce facilitation guides, quick-reference materials and an induction video for new personnel
- Adapt materials to each audience’s responsibilities, functions and risk exposure
- Promote understanding of conduct expectations, risk prevention and reporting mechanisms
- Embed respect, dignity, gender equality, non-discrimination and accountability in the packages
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in PSEA, social sciences, education, psychology, social work, international relations, international development or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in safeguarding, child protection, PSEA, children’s rights or institutional strengthening
- Experience designing training materials, self-learning resources and learning assessment tools
- Experience facilitating in-person or virtual training for institutional staff and partner organisations
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish and advanced written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UNICEF or other United Nations agencies
- Experience developing induction packages, e-learning or audiovisual materials
- Experience producing or coordinating educational or institutional videos
- Knowledge of the Venezuelan context and UNICEF partner organisations
- Experience in institutional safeguarding and organisational capacity strengthening
