Consultoría - Fortalecimiento de iniciativas de finanzas públicas para la infancia en la República Dominicana

Provides technical assistance to strengthen UNICEF's public and innovative finance agenda in the Dominican Republic. The consultant develops expenditure and fiscal-policy evidence, financing products and investment scenarios; improves an AI-based child-expenditure tagging tool; and builds alliances with government, academic and private-sector partners to influence equitable financing decisions.

• Strengthen analysis of public expenditure directed at children and develop budget briefs and public-investment reports
• Identify alternative financing mechanisms and develop strategic proposals for child-focused programmes
• Develop prospective tools and analyses for public-investment scenarios
• Improve, validate and apply the AI-based child-expenditure tagging tool for decision-making
• Generate evidence on economic policies and fiscal reforms affecting children
• Build alliances with universities and research centres to strengthen national capacity and knowledge production

• Bachelor's degree in economics, public policy, social sciences or a related field with specialisation in economic analysis and public finance
• At least 7 years of experience in public finance, budget analysis or social policy
• Spanish proficiency
