Consultant, GRSP Road Policing Capacity Building Trainer

The GRSP Road Policing Trainer supports IFRC road-safety programmes through training design, workshop delivery and enforcement coaching. The consultant gives agencies feedback, works with partners and adapts international good practice to local contexts. Candidates need six years of road-policing experience, advanced training, fluent English and availability for international travel.

• Design and deliver road policing training programmes and workshops
• Coach and mentor road police through observation and follow-up discussions
• Provide written feedback and guidance to road policing agencies
• Assess target-community contexts for locally relevant capacity building
• Liaise with government and non-government organisations
• Share information with GRSP partners and stakeholders

• Advanced training in a key area related to road policing excellence
• At least six years of road policing experience
• Experience applying road policing tactics, deterrence principles and research-driven practices
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Ability to travel and work internationally

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, public health, social sciences or a related field
• Good command of French, Spanish or Arabic
• Good command of Portuguese
