Conference Coordinator for the Viet Nam Country Gender Equality Profile 2026 Launch

Coordinates the high-level launch of Viet Nam’s 2026 Country Gender Equality Profile, linking UN Women with the national research institute. The consultant manages government approvals, speakers, invitations, logistics, participant records and post-event reporting for an inclusive, professional event.

• Develop and maintain a detailed conference workplan and timeline
• Coordinate government approvals and protocol requirements with national counterparts
• Coordinate speakers, moderators, guests and participating organisations
• Prepare invitations, agendas, briefing materials and participant communications
• Manage venue, interpretation, equipment, catering and other event logistics
• Maintain registration, attendance and participant records
• Support inclusive and professional delivery of the launch conference
• Prepare post-event documentation and a completion report

• Bachelor's degree in communications, event management, public relations, social sciences or a related field
• At least five years of relevant experience coordinating conferences or high-level events
• Demonstrated experience securing government approvals and coordinating with public institutions
• Strong written and spoken Vietnamese and English

• Advanced university degree in a relevant field
• Experience working with the Viet Nam Academy of Social Sciences or other government institutions
• Knowledge of gender equality issues and stakeholders in Viet Nam
