Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop the Viet Nam Pavilion programme and gender-responsive side-event arrangements
- Coordinate technical meetings and consolidate inputs from ministries and development partners
- Prepare concept notes, presentations, communications products and event summaries
- Liaise with government, partner and private-sector stakeholders on content, speakers and logistics
- Review event proposals for gender-responsive content, balanced representation and accessibility
- Provide remote and on-site coordination during COP31 and collect event documentation
- Prepare the final Pavilion report, lessons learned and recommendations
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in gender studies, development studies, communications, environmental or climate-change studies, public policy or a related field
- At least seven years of professional experience in gender and climate-change programming, communications or event coordination
- Experience producing knowledge and communications products on gender, climate change or green growth
- Experience coordinating side events, conferences or public programming
- Fluency in Vietnamese and proficiency in written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with United Nations climate conferences or other major international events
- Familiarity with Viet Nam’s gender-equality and climate-change policy frameworks and GEDSI mainstreaming
- Experience working with government agencies and international development partners
