Job Description
Develops an evidence-based report on international models for gender-responsive procurement in public purchasing. The home-based consultancy analyses comparative practice, identifies implementation approaches and produces recommendations that support UN Women and partners to strengthen inclusive procurement policy.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research international models for gender-responsive public procurement
- Analyse comparative implementation approaches and policy frameworks
- Develop findings and recommendations for the commissioned report
- Prepare and revise the technical report based on stakeholder feedback
Role Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in a listed or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in public procurement, public financial management or related fields
- At least 10 years of policy research, legal analysis, comparative studies or technical-report development
- At least 5 years integrating gender equality or supplier-diversity considerations into policy, programmes or procurement systems
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience researching, advising on or supporting gender-responsive procurement, supplier diversity or inclusive procurement policies
Skills to Have
Additional info
- Home-based international consultancy from 1 September 2026 to 28 February 2027
- Meetings may be held at the UN Women Viet Nam Office and travel to selected provinces or cities may be required
