Provide national technical review of four chapters of Viet Nam’s 2026 Country Gender Equality Profile, verifying data, laws and policy analysis across economic development, care, digital transformation and climate issues and strengthening actionable recommendations.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Review the full profile and prepare a chapter-specific workplan and source list
  • Verify economic-development data, policy analysis and recommendations in Chapter 4
  • Review care-economy evidence, institutional responsibilities and system-level recommendations
  • Verify digital-transformation and artificial-intelligence analysis in Chapter 7
  • Review climate, environmental, energy-transition and green-growth analysis in Chapter 8
  • Coordinate cross-chapter issues with the team leader and other national reviewers
  • Revise assigned chapters following agreed technical comments
  • Complete final data, citation and cross-reference verification

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in economics, development studies, public policy, labour studies, technology or innovation policy, environmental studies, climate change, gender studies or a directly relevant field
  • At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality, economic development, digital transformation, climate change, green growth or related public-policy fields in Viet Nam
  • Experience conducting gender analysis or technical review of national reports, policies, research or programmes
  • Substantial expertise in at least two of the three assigned thematic areas and ability to review the remaining area
  • Knowledge of Viet Nam’s relevant policy context and official data sources
  • Excellent written and spoken Vietnamese and English

Desired Criteria

  • Combined expertise across economic, digital and green transformation
  • Familiarity with CEDAW, the Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Agreement, the Sendai Framework and just-transition principles
