Job Description
Supports WHO EMRO’s AIDERS Community of Practice during an eight-week push for AI use in emergencies. The online UN Volunteer moderates daily activity, welcomes members, maintains pinned guidance and escalates sensitive issues; compiles weekly membership and engagement metrics, identifies risks and mitigations, and supports technical leads through clear, scheduled community-management outputs.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Check the platform twice per weekday and direct requests to the appropriate focal point
- Welcome and orient new members within 48 hours
- Maintain pinned posts, rules, working-group guidance and key links
- Escalate sensitive issues promptly
- Prepare Friday updates on membership, activity, top threads, risks and next-week plans
Role Requirements
- Experience supporting an online community
- Experience writing short, clear posts and weekly summaries
- Experience using AI tools for drafting and summarising
- Experience organising work with trackers or calendars and delivering weekly updates on time
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with technical leads to draft content, obtain reviews and apply feedback
