Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise the Public Affairs Advisor and act as Chief Public Affairs Officer when required
- Manage community-relations and internal-communication functions and programmes
- Develop public-affairs products, press releases and briefings
- Coordinate relations with media, local government and educational institutions
- Manage branch workflows, correspondence, tasking and office administration
- Plan, track and report on the branch budget and expenditures
Role Requirements
- University degree in journalism, public relations or a related field with 4 years of experience or secondary education with professional training and 5 years
- Experience producing news releases, media products and press-briefing material
- English proficiency at SLP 3333 and required Italian host-nation language
- Eligibility for NATO SECRET security clearance
Desired Criteria
- Master’s degree in public relations or a related field
- Military public-affairs and joint multinational-environment experience
- Multimedia and deployment experience
