Responsibilities
- Design and execute outreach and internal-communications strategy for the headquarters transformation programme
- Develop and maintain the SHAPE Static Command Facilities communication plan
- Assess communication performance and recommend corrective actions to senior managers
- Prepare strategic briefings on headquarters facilities and transition initiatives
- Implement an information campaign aligned with programme managers, NATO offices and host nations
- Coordinate dialogue with programme stakeholders and track communications interdependencies
- Maintain programme information on NATO channels and distribute controlled statements and messages
- Monitor open-source media coverage and advise programme leadership
Requirements
- Two to four years of previous public-affairs experience as a communication specialist
- Experience developing communication strategies, plans and stakeholder-engagement initiatives
- Communication Manager course or similar training
- University degree in business administration, public administration or a related discipline with two years of related experience, or higher secondary education with advanced vocational training and four years of related experience
- English proficiency at NATO SLP 4343 and French proficiency at NATO SLP 2222
- Nationality of one of NATO’s 32 member states
