Develops and implements advocacy, media and digital communication strategies that raise public support for child rights, strengthen UNICEF visibility and influence policy commitments for children in Haiti.

Responsibilities

  • Support integrated advocacy and communication strategy development
  • Implement advocacy and communication campaigns with internal and external partners
  • Manage media engagement and digital communications
  • Monitor and evaluate advocacy and communication results
  • Support project planning and budgets
  • Build advocacy and communication capacity
  • Engage stakeholders to influence policy and practice for children

Requirements

  • First-level university degree in journalism, political science, communications, international relations or a related field
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in communication, advocacy, campaigning and digital communications
  • Experience supporting or managing projects to completion, including processes and budget management
  • Experience in digital communications and managing online platforms and channels
  • Experience supporting clear theories of change and performance indicators
  • Fluency in English and French
