Job Description
Support ITC's Strategies and Policy for Trade and Investment Section in Geneva to develop, implement and monitor trade and investment policy projects. The officer will analyse programme issues and regulatory evidence, support client assignments and workshops, contribute to written outputs, coordinate meetings and field missions, and help ensure that business perspectives inform trade, investment and regulatory reforms.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support development, implementation and evaluation of trade and investment policy projects
- Monitor programme development and identify issues requiring corrective action
- Support policy coordination, evaluation and research activities
- Assist regulatory reviews, assessments and survey initiatives
- Prepare background papers, analytical notes and report inputs
- Support workshops, trainings, consultations and field missions
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in business administration, management, economics, international trade or a related field, or a first-level degree with additional relevant experience
- At least two years of experience in project or programme management or a related area
- English and Spanish at UN Level III in reading, writing, listening and speaking
Desired Criteria
- Experience in trade and investment policy with exposure to trade in services
- Experience implementing trade and investment policy technical assistance projects in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe or Latin America
- Experience in proposal design and project development for trade-related technical assistance
