Job Description

UNDP’s Justiça 4.0 programme seeks a Scrum Associate to strengthen agile software delivery for Brazil’s judiciary. The role will facilitate planning, daily, review and retrospective ceremonies; manage product and sprint backlogs; track work in Jira; remove delivery impediments; monitor milestones and solution quality; improve team practices; and coordinate CNJ, UNDP and project stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Conduct and organize agile planning, daily, review and retrospective ceremonies
  • Support product and sprint backlog definition, prioritization and refinement
  • Monitor and record activities, tasks and issues in Jira
  • Track delivery deadlines and technical and qualitative solution quality
  • Identify and remove impediments affecting team workflow
  • Systematize lessons, evidence and good practices for institutional use

Role Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • At least seven years with high school or four years with university education facilitating agile ceremonies and practices in IT projects
  • Experience with the software development life cycle
  • Experience applying agile practices with multidisciplinary teams
  • Fluency in Portuguese

Desired Criteria

  • Experience coordinating technical teams, business areas and stakeholders
  • Jira administration including Kanban boards, workflows, permissions and JQL
  • Scrum certification such as PMI-ACP, A-CSM, PSM II or PSM III
