Strengthens the business and commercial capabilities of cocoa-producing associations through tailored capacity-building, value-chain methods and business planning. The role connects organisations with strategic partners and market opportunities, while tracking implementation, partnerships and results to support the economic sustainability of productive initiatives.

• Deliver business-strengthening and capacity-development processes for assigned organisations using value-chain methodologies
• Design and facilitate tailored training, mentoring and specialist advisory sessions
• Develop tailored action plans and business plans for producer organisations
• Map territorial actors and identify strategic partners for productive initiatives
• Facilitate networking, sector dialogues and commercial linkage sessions
• Prepare progress and monthly implementation reports for the national coordination team
• Systematise project knowledge, tools and lessons learned and share them with partners

• High school education, or a bachelor's degree in social sciences, social work, engineering, marketing, finance, economics, accounting, administration, design, international business or a related field
• At least 6 years of relevant experience strengthening the business capacities of grassroots organisations with high school education, or 3 years with a bachelor's degree
• Experience with differential approaches and social inclusion
• Experience working in rural areas
• Fluency in Spanish
• Availability to travel to programme territories

• Previous assignments with the UN or multilateral or bilateral aid organisations
• Experience working with victims, peace signatories, social leaders, ethnic peoples or OSIGD communities
• Experience implementing business-improvement projects for more than one producer association, preferably in the cocoa value chain
• Experience with ethnic producer associations in PDET or ZOMAC municipalities or conflict-affected areas
