This UNDP national-contract role supports Mexico's economic diplomacy and trade-promotion agenda. Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise on and coordinate trade-promotion strategies within Mexico's economic diplomacy priorities
- Coordinate Mexican representations abroad to identify and track commercial opportunities
- Manage participation in international fairs, sector seminars and trade missions
- Coordinate public agencies, state and municipal governments and business organizations
- Track priority projects on foreign trade, value chains and business linkages
- Support high-level meetings and institutional mechanisms on international trade promotion
Role Requirements
- High school certificate
- At least six years of experience in foreign trade, public-private liaison, event management or related work with high school education
- At least three years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree
- Intermediate English
- Mexican nationality or immigration status permitting the work
Desired Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in economics, political science, international relations, public policy or a related field
- Master's studies in a related field
- Experience in interinstitutional coordination
- Knowledge of international economics, private-sector development, foreign trade or diplomacy
