Adviser, Cash and Voucher Assistance

Provides strategic, technical and operational cash and voucher assistance support to National Societies across the Sahel. Based with the British Red Cross in Dakar, the adviser will strengthen cash preparedness and response, mentor partner teams, improve programme monitoring and community accountability, support donor proposals and regional coordination, and help national societies deliver safe, effective and scalable cash assistance.

• Provide technical support across the cash preparedness cycle
• Support National Societies to design, implement and monitor cash responses
• Coach partner staff and strengthen cash-assistance capacity
• Support provider selection, contracting and monitoring tools
• Contribute to donor reporting, proposals and cash budgets
• Coordinate with Movement partners and regional cash platforms

• Relevant specialist qualification or equivalent experience in response or recovery programming including cash and voucher assistance
• Experience managing disaster-response project cycles
• Experience designing and implementing cash assistance
• Experience building local partner capacity
• Fluency in English and French

• Experience with Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement actors
• Experience in the Sahel region
