Working with ILO
The ILO is unlike most UN organizations because it is tripartite: governments, employers’ organizations and workers’ organizations participate in its governance and standard-setting. This is not a ceremonial feature. It shapes how the Office works, the evidence it uses and the partnerships a staff member must build. How to Apply for ILO Jobs
Once you find a suitable ILO vacancy on IGO Jobs or the ILO careers page, submit your application through ILO's official recruitment portal. Below is a guide on how to apply.

Read the initial paragraphs of the posting carefully. ILO opportunities are categorized as International, Development Cooperation, Local, Temporary, JPO or Internship; each has its own eligibility and conditions. Check education, experience and languages, remembering that English, French and Spanish are the ILO’s working languages.
2Create a new candidate profile in ILO Jobs
External candidates, including consultants and interns, apply through the ILO Jobs external site. The ILO says profiles from earlier e-recruit systems cannot be used; create a new Candidate Profile early in the posting period, since the full online application can take more than two hours.
3Complete every profile section and prioritize relevant evidence
