This World Bank Young Professional supports IFC environmental and social due diligence in Washington, DC. The role reviews impact assessments and plans against IFC Performance Standards, analyses risk data, uses systems to develop recommendations, maintains records, monitors action plans and annual reports, and contributes portfolio analytics for sustainable investment decisions.

• Review E&S documentation, impact assessments, management plans etc. for consistency with IFC Performance Standards, accurateness, and completeness
• Assist in monitoring the implementation of E&S action plans by IFC clients
• Prepare role-specific technical reports and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders on operational delivery

• A minimum of a master’s degree in environmental sciences, engineering, international development, social sciences, biodiversity/ecology, anthropology, or related disciplines
• 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in English
