Job Description

This World Bank Young Professional supports transport investment in Washington, DC. The role prepares financial models and investment memoranda, analyses statements and equity values, develops sector guidance and presentations, tracks pipeline opportunities and performance indicators, supports advisory products, and shares best practice across IFC investment, upstream and advisory services.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop sector knowledge deliverables such as sector guidance notes on relevant topics, presentations to various stakeholders, monthly knowledge and pipeline calls with the regions to further institutional understanding of sector-specific investment opportunities, challenges, and KPIs
  • Facilitate knowledge flow across IFC and promote adoption of new approaches and best practices for TRP, including activities covering mainstream investment, upstream and advisory services
  • Prepare role-specific technical reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on operational delivery

Role Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in finance and/or economics; accounting is a plus
  • 2-6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in English
