Overview
Manages medium-sized water, sanitation, electrical and infrastructure projects for the ICRC in Myanmar. The role leads design, procurement, implementation and handover, provides technical quality oversight to detention and field programmes, and manages teams, risks, budgets and stakeholder agreements.

Responsibilities
- Lead medium-sized infrastructure projects within approved scope, quality, timelines and budgets
- Conduct feasibility studies, assessments and project proposals to define requirements
- Oversee technical design, procurement, contract management, implementation and commissioning
- Provide quality control for water and sanitation facilities in places of detention
- Review electricity and electromechanical needs and designs across country projects
- Guide sub-delegations, subsites and consultants on technical methodologies and standards
- Build working relationships and formal agreements with public services and stakeholders
- Supervise, coach and develop project-team members while ensuring timely reporting
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification and experience in electromechanics, civil engineering, environmental engineering or a related field
- Six to nine years of project-management experience related to public-health engineering, including at least two years in water, sanitation and hygiene
- Proven management and team-leadership experience
- Strong computer and drawing-software proficiency
- Excellent command of English and full proficiency in Burmese
