Responsibilities
- Support technical assessments of damaged water, sanitation and hygiene systems
- Monitor rehabilitation works in communities, schools, health facilities and urban infrastructure
- Verify targets, beneficiaries, technical quality, compliance and functionality of restored services
- Coordinate government counterparts, contractors, service providers and implementing partners
- Update tracking tools, progress reports, donor materials and sector information
- Integrate resilience measures and resolve operational bottlenecks during implementation
- Support humanitarian preparedness, emergency response and sustainable service handover
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, hydraulic, sanitary, environmental or water-resources engineering, or another relevant technical field
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in WASH programmes in developing countries
- Demonstrated humanitarian WASH response and site-inspection skills
- Knowledge of urban WASH infrastructure and water-supply restoration
- Fluency in English and Spanish
