Responsibilities

  • Support technical assessments of damaged water, sanitation and hygiene systems
  • Monitor rehabilitation works in communities, schools, health facilities and urban infrastructure
  • Verify targets, beneficiaries, technical quality, compliance and functionality of restored services
  • Coordinate government counterparts, contractors, service providers and implementing partners
  • Update tracking tools, progress reports, donor materials and sector information
  • Integrate resilience measures and resolve operational bottlenecks during implementation
  • Support humanitarian preparedness, emergency response and sustainable service handover

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, hydraulic, sanitary, environmental or water-resources engineering, or another relevant technical field
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in WASH programmes in developing countries
  • Demonstrated humanitarian WASH response and site-inspection skills
  • Knowledge of urban WASH infrastructure and water-supply restoration
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
