Overview
IOM Ethiopia seeks an engineering contractor to support construction, WASH and community reintegration for Migration Response Centres and communities. The associate reviews designs and bills of quantities, monitors works, coordinates contractors and procurement, ensures accessible standards, and reports progress and risks.

Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor construction, engineering and WASH interventions
- Prepare and review designs, drawings, bills of quantities and technical specifications
- Conduct site visits and verify quality, safety, compliance and progress
- Coordinate contractors, engineers, authorities, communities and internal support units
- Support procurement of construction materials and services
- Maintain contracts, permits, assessments, compliance records and photographic evidence
- Prepare monthly progress reports and escalate risks or delays
Requirements
- Bachelor's and master's degrees in civil or structural engineering, construction management, architecture, environmental engineering or a related field
- At least four years of experience in construction, engineering or WASH projects
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated capability with AutoCAD, ProgeCAD, ArcGIS and RCD 2000
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Amharic
