Overview
The mobilizer connects migrants in Ireland with IOM services through outreach, cultural mediation and community activities, supports community-based mental health and psychosocial initiatives, maps needs and services, gathers feedback and helps deliver inclusive assessments and events.

Responsibilities
- Engage international-protection applicants and build trust and participation
- Organise creative, cultural, recreational and social activities
- Map community resources, cultural groups and local talents
- Integrate psychosocial-support principles into community initiatives
- Maintain two-way communication and collect community feedback
- Guide community focal points and volunteers
- Support awareness campaigns on well-being and social inclusion
- Assist needs assessments, surveys and referrals for psychosocial or protection support
Requirements
- High school diploma with five years of relevant experience, or university degree with three years of relevant experience
- At least two years of cultural-mediation experience supporting migrants
- Ability to work with migrants and asylum seekers
- Knowledge of Irish asylum-application procedures
- Experience preparing concise reports and working with statistics
- Microsoft Office experience
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Right to live and work in Ireland
