Responsibilities

  • Provide impartial counselling on voluntary return and available alternatives
  • Explain residence, return and reintegration prospects using current country information
  • Connect clients with government, municipal, community and private support services
  • Initiate return and reintegration support through IOM programmes
  • Coordinate public authorities, non-governmental organisations and counselling actors
  • Organise mobile counselling sessions, stakeholder meetings and thematic events
  • Manage daily operations of the AVRR counselling centre
  • Develop outreach strategies and distribute information about voluntary-return programmes

Requirements

  • University degree in political or social sciences, social work, pedagogy or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in migration issues, project work or counselling services
  • Driving licence valid in Germany
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in German
