Responsibilities
- Provide impartial counselling on voluntary return and available alternatives
- Explain residence, return and reintegration prospects using current country information
- Connect clients with government, municipal, community and private support services
- Initiate return and reintegration support through IOM programmes
- Coordinate public authorities, non-governmental organisations and counselling actors
- Organise mobile counselling sessions, stakeholder meetings and thematic events
- Manage daily operations of the AVRR counselling centre
- Develop outreach strategies and distribute information about voluntary-return programmes
Requirements
- University degree in political or social sciences, social work, pedagogy or a related field with at least three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with at least five years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in migration issues, project work or counselling services
- Driving licence valid in Germany
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in German
