Fundraising Content Officer

The officer produces donor-focused appeals, proposals, reports and multimedia assets for ICRC operations, maintains current financial and humanitarian context information, coordinates input from specialists, adapts narratives to donor needs, leads content packages, supports emergency fundraising and coaches new content officers.

Department: Resource Mobilization Division

• Produce emergency, thematic and contextual fundraising content
• Draft donor appeals, funding proposals, briefings and reports
• Maintain current financial and humanitarian information on assigned files
• Coordinate source material with operational and subject-matter specialists
• Edit and proofread assets against institutional guidance
• Adapt narratives and presentation formats to target donor audiences
• Lead content packages and support emergency fundraising updates
• Coach and help onboard new fundraising content officers

• University degree or advanced certification
• Master's degree in communications, international relations, journalism or a related field
• At least five years of professional experience
• Proven English-language writing experience
• Proven ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of information
• High proficiency in English

• The role has a global reporting remit and no people-management responsibility
