Staff Officer (Budget Analyst)

NATO seeks a Staff Officer in Brunssum to manage headquarters budgets. The officer will screen annual estimates, coordinate budget analysis and execution data, advise on military allocations, develop resource plans, ensure compliant fund use, act as budget officer, maintain accounts and statistics, and strengthen financial controls for headquarters leadership.

• Screen annual budget estimates
• Coordinate budget analysis and execution data
• Advise on management of military budget allocations
• Compile financial data for medium-term resource plans
• Ensure compliant use of international funds
• Act as budget officer when required
• Maintain accounts, reports and statistics
• Support financial risk and internal-control frameworks

• Degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, public administration or relevant field
• At least three years of financial-role experience and three years of financial analysis, budgeting and reporting experience
• Experience with financial-management systems, advanced spreadsheets, databases and business-intelligence tools
• Good English
• NATO member-state nationality
