Specialized Consultant for Social Work Project BudgetingNew

UN-Habitat seeks a specialised consultant in Santo André to prepare social-work budgets and physical-financial schedules for the Periferia Viva urbanisation project. The consultant will coordinate technical alignment, develop costed planning products, maintain project information, and support inclusive infrastructure and housing improvements for the Nova Centreville community.

• Prepare budget breakdowns and physical and financial schedules for social work before, during and after construction
• Participate in technical alignment meetings with the Periferia Viva team
• Maintain compliance with UN-Habitat quality standards and project requirements
• Maintain orderly and accessible information and data files
• Deliver technical workshop reports and budget spreadsheets for two urbanisation phases
• Prepare a technical note on physical and financial social-work planning schedules

• Bachelor's degree in social work, social sciences or a related field
• Postgraduate degree in social work, social sciences or a related field, or four additional years of relevant experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience coordinating social-work, technical-assistance or advisory initiatives for Brazilian slum-upgrading projects
• Experience preparing budgets and physical-financial schedules for Social Work Planning projects in Brazil
• Fluency in Portuguese

• Previous experience within or with the United Nations System
• Working knowledge of English
