Three-month consultancy to build UN-Habitat's Evaluation Portal as a Power Apps canvas application connected to Azure SQL, integrating evaluation tracking, a lessons library, automated workflows, edit controls, notifications and Power BI dashboards for organisational learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a unified Power Apps canvas application for evaluation tracking and lessons management
  • Connect the application securely to DIP Azure SQL data sources
  • Create SQL views and stored procedures invoked through Power Automate workflows
  • Implement record editing, locking, validation, filters and user-friendly navigation
  • Configure automated reminders and workflow notifications
  • Develop Power BI dashboards for evaluation status, findings and organisational learning
  • Test, document and hand over the portal to UN-Habitat users and administrators

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in information technology, software engineering or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience
  • At least two years of Power Apps development experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure SQL, Power Automate and Power BI
  • Experience building a comparable application and dashboard for the United Nations or a similar organisation
  • Fluency in English
